I'm intrigued to see what kind of races we have around the state. I have 3 that I will post in this thread, the GRC, MEC, and KCI.
First GRC
1. Princeton 6-0 (4-0)
2. Gallatin 5-1 (4-0)
3. Polo 5-1 (3-1)
4. South Harrison 2-4 (2-2)
5. Trenton 2-4 (2-2)
6. Putnam County 1-5 (1-3)
7. Maysville 1-5 (0-4)
8. Milan 0-6 (0-4)
MEC
1. Smithville 6-0 (4-0)
2. Lafayette 5-1 (3-1)
3. Chillicothe 5-1 (3-1)
4. Maryville 5-1 (3-1)
5.Savannah 2-4 (2-2)
6. LeBlond 2-4 (1-3)
7. Benton 0-6 (0-4)
8. Cameron 0-6 (0-4)
KCI
1. East Buchanan 5-1 (4-0)
2. Lathrop 5-1 (3-1)
3. Penney 5-1 (3-1)
4. Lawson 3-3 (3-1)
5. North Platte 2-4 (2-2)
6. Plattsburg 3-3 (1-3)
7. West Platte 1-5 (0-4)
8. Mid Buchanan 0-6 (0-4)

Man oh man, the GRC is not what it used to be and hasn't been in awhile. That's unfortunate.
Used to be the best Class 1 dominated conference in the state. IMO

I know they have solved some of the problem of 8 man football with COOP's but still seems like it's the same teams of haves and have nots

Im not sure who this O'Doyle is. We here in Ampipe have last names like; Djordjevich, Salvucci, and Nickerson! You can get outta here with those Irish names and 8 man football crap!

not too much different from your other classifications though is it?

Extreme #'s game in 8 man. Bad teams (usually the smallest schools) may only have 8-15 kids out. While the good teams(usually the biggest schools) may have 30-40 kids

The SRVC looks like it will come down to the winner of Sarcoxie and Pierce City game. Still, I would not be surprised if Lockwood ends up beating Sarcoxie and Sarcoxie beats PC to force a three way tie for the conference.

The Mid-Lakes looks to belong to Strafford this year. They smoked Fair Grove and those two look to be far and above the rest of the conference.

I'm not sure you are qualified to be an evaluator of sports if you haven't seen Billy Madison...is this a legitimate criteria? Mosports..you decide

I bet you the champion comes from this conference, but I predict it will be Worth County and they will play Sacred Heart in the championship. You heard it here first.

For GRC coverage, go to http://www.grandriverconference.com
I think you are right, WC is impressive and was definitely 2 years in the making. Saw their senior class when they were sophomores and they were pretty solid then. Sacred Heart just out-athletes you, but when they decide to play disciplined football they are tough. They have speed, size, physicality, and QB that can beat with his feet and arm. SH has a center/NT that will play on Saturdays I am sure.
