Year in and year out the Suburban Gold conference produces quality football and some of the top players in the Show-Me state. While the league may not possess the star power of recent seasons this season promises to provide as much balance as the league has seen in several years from top to bottom.
Undefeated defending league champion Blue Springs appears to be the favorite, but there are several challengers.

Let's take a quick look around the Suburban Gold (Big 7) Conference.

MOsports.com Predicted Standings

1) Blue Springs-- "We really like the quality and leadership of these seniors", commented head coach Kelly Donohoe. "We will have several juniors starting with a mix of a couple sophomores on each side of the ball. We are excited about coaching this team. It is just preseason, but it looks like a team that will develop a strong chemistry and will work very hard."

5 starters return on offense, led by senior quarterback Kyle Brown. The defense returns 6 players including senior Deiondre Hall(6-3 180) a talented WR/DB who makes big plays on both sides of the ball.

"We will be relying on our defense to step up with five returning starters on that side of the the ball.

The addition of defensive coordinator Mike Spotts will be a huge advantage for the Tigers this year. The tigers will field and very young and inexperienced team, but will work hard to show constant and consistent improvement throughout the 2011 season."
