I know it only affects two teams, but seems to me that the schedule allows for an opportunity for teams to be out of synch. Obv LSU and Clem and OSU were in synch, but Sports are games of repetition, (play a game, 6 days off, repeat) and LSU and Clemson will have played its final 3 games over 37 days. I know it’s all predicated off of TV schedules and money, they have to have travel days, and it can’t interfere w the NFL, but as a coach to me it would seem to throw a big wrench into normal preparation plans. Plus you are worrying about players taking finals, traveling back and forth to their homes for a quick visit, down time to get in trouble, etc.

thats why bowl games are basically exhibition games. their like friendlies in soccer to an extent.

Ou didn't get blasted because they had time off. They play a lesser schedule and their ooc didn't prepare them for sec.

Neither.

OU played a better schedule than Clemson did and Clemson seemed prepared.

OU is going to have to upgrade on defense. It was better this year but didn’t help to lose the only guy who could consistently rush the passer. Plus they had a NFL caliber TE retire due to head midseason due to head injuries. OU peaked about week 5 and was scraping by since. There are apparently some pretty good recruits coming in but that said they have a ways to go.

All that said the NCAA could open a Title IX investigation on LSU after what they did to OU yesterday. This made that 2004 game vs USC look pretty good.

Clemson played a&m ooc. At least they're trying

Hannibal went about 2 decades without losing a major battle. I wish OU was that.
