Some good games but not a ton of big surprises last week. WC made a good effort at shutting up the naysayers. Carthage pretty much dismantled Joplin for 3 of the 4 quarters. Republic and CJ had a battle. Branson burned down Willard. Neosho did manage to improve their stats ever so slightly.
So for this week here's what we've got. Probably another week of heavy favorites.
Branson at Joplin: Branson has put up some big points in a few games this year. And statistically they are just below Joplin in my 'power ranking' sheet. So even though my gut would say Joplin runs all over the pirates who knows. I'll go with Joplin 42-28
Carthage at Republic: Carthage has had a couple very solid weeks. Republic looks to be much better vs previous years but I'll take Carthage on the road 35-21
Ozark at Webb City: Webb City finally had a phenomenal defensive performance on Friday. Although Ozark is one of the few teams with recent wins at Cardinal Stadium, it's probably not going to happen this year. WC 42-14
Neosho at Willard: This is Neosho's best chance to pick up a win but I'll still go with Willard 21-7
Carl Junction at Nixa: Certainly possible the bulldogs make this a game especially if Nixa takes a big blow to confidence. But I think Nixa will roll 35-7
