No surprises last week. Everyone that was 'supposed' to win did and by convincing margins. The only quirk perhaps was Webb City in a 7-7 tie with Branson into the 3rd quarter.
So this week is the much anticipated matchup with Nixa at Webb City and Joplin visiting Carthage. Some of the other games should be pretty good as well.
Willard at Branson - Branson has burned me so many times over the years. They lose when I think they're on the upswing and they win unexpected games. But I keep going back to them so I'll say Branson 21-10
Joplin at Carthage - This depends highly on injuries and quarantines but assuming both teams are fully staffed and practiced then I'll give a slight edge to Carthage at home. I think both teams will approach this game as simply having to outscore the other. Carthage 41-35 unless they have turnover problems then I'd expect something like 35-21 Joplin.
Ozark at Neosho - I suspect another beating of the wildcats is in store, Ozark 42-7
Nixa at Webb City - The game everyone in SWMO will be watching. Going out on a very wobbly limb I'll pick Nixa 28-21.
Republic at Carl Junction - Another interesting game. I believe both of these teams are better than they are getting credit for. I'll go with CJ 27-14
