Glad to be posting about week 4. I honestly thought the season would have collapsed by now, although I am starting to hear from people I know in several districts that school in general is starting to get VERY shaky and many are not expecting it will last much longer before schools start hitting thresholds where they just shut down.
Not really sure what to make of the COC at this point. Last week looked like the most obvious week of picks ever but 100% missed on CJ and almost everyone missed on Joplin too. Joplin, btw lost to Ozark in spite of amassing almost 700 yds of offense, almost double Ozark's total. Nixa and Carthage are the only remaining undefeated. But Carthage travels to Webb City this week. I'm a bit surprised to see Willard at 0-3. Definitely was not expecting Joplin to be 1-2 with their only win against WC.
Branson at Neosho - I want to think Neosho is due for a win. But they have only scored once all season and showed only moments of cohesiveness at Carthage last week. Branson 21-14
Carthage at Webb City - I'm never good at picking this game. Carthage by not very much?
Joplin at Carl Junction - Interesting timing on this game after both were upset last week. Joplin 45-20
Republic at Nixa - Republic may be improved but Nixa so far looks significantly improved. Nixa 35-14
Willard at Ozark - Ozark might be hungover from the wild game at Joplin. Willard is certainly hungry for a win. But Ozark
