Webb City 5-0
Carthage 4-1
Willard 4-1
Nixa 3-2
Republic 3-2
Neosho 3-2
Ozark 1-4
Branson 0-5

Willard @ Webb City
Not a lot to say here. Last year this was the "big game" in the conference. Willard is still a good team but not quite the matchup as last season when both teams came into this game undefeated and state ranked.

Ozark @ Branson
A matchup of 1-4 and 0-5 teams. I think that Ozark comes away with a win here.

Carthage @ Republic
Intriguing game here. Republic seems to have fared better than expected so far so I am interested to see what this outcome will be. I expect a tight one.

Nixa @ Neosho
Neosho is a lot better than they have been. Anyone who has seen them in person can attest to that. Can they hang with Nixa? I'll pick the Eagles but expect a good effort from Neosho on their home field.

WEBB without much resistance
Ozark
cTOWN but should be great game
Nixa just cause I haven't seen NOSHO

Nixa better be ready for Neosho; any let down and the Tigers could find themselves down late in the game...

Some good games this week in the coc!

Webb has looked vulnerable at times this season but true to form has always found a way to win. I am kind of expecting to see the cardinals run away with this one.

Ozark and Branson have both struggled, Ozark maybe less so. I imagine Ozark will take it, maybe by a lot, but it could be a battle to avoid sharing or being alone in last place.

Carthage and Republic should be the one to watch this week. Republic will be at home and had a better showing against WC. Carthage has only lost to seemingly unbeatable Webb City and has looked pretty good even without Derryberry. Both teams have what it takes to win this one. If Carthage can avoid leaving the red zone empty handed like they've done in a few previous games I think they'll get the W.

Nixa may be favored but Neosho looked very good at Carthage. I would not rule them out at home against Nixa.

I knew they lead big on willard and barely lost and was a 2 point conversion away from beating carthage but i wrote it off as : willard isnt very good and carthage is pretty average without Derryberry. Perhaps i was wrong. Either nixa had a really bad night or neosho is pretty darn good

Well I read that Nixa lost Logan Tyler to injury, possibly aggravated injury from last week. That said, it is obvious that Neosho has improved. I still think with Derryberry that Carthage is the 2nd best team in the COC this year. Without him or take Tyler away from Nixa and I think there isn't much separation between Carthage, Nixa , Neosho and Willard.

Congrats to coach Baldwin and team on a huge win for the program. May not want to see them in districts.

Honestly I think they are a level below the other teams but they did give WC a pretty good test.
Just in terms of capability; they clearly still need to learn to finish (look not just at the Republic/Webb game, but tonight they were only down 14-7 against Carthage at the half.

I have liked Neosho since last season and I thought they would give Nixa a tough game. A litle surprised to see the final result but not shocked by any means.

This is becoming the year of the QB injury statewide. But that is part of the game.........
