COC Large Week 3

Last year I usually did a weekly preview/roundup of games week to week. I have missed the first couple weeks but will try to start doing that from now on.

Willard 2-0
Neosho 2-0
Republic 1-1
Ozark 1-1
Nixa 1-1
Carthage 1-1

Webb City @ Har-Ber
Don't know what to expect from Har-Ber but I would pick Webb in this one regardless of the scouting report. Cards continue to roll.

Willard @ Neosho
Looks like this will be a good matchup. Both teams come in at 2-0 against non-conference opponents. Both teams have solid running back play.

Republic @ Ozark
Republic beat Marshfield badly last week after getting blown out by a good Smith-Cotton team. Ozark comes in at 1-1 after topping St Clair last week. I will take Republic here as I dont know if Ozark's defense will fare well against the Republic offense. Last year Republic won this matchup 64-22.

Nixa @ Branson
On paper it looks this Nixa will roll in this one. Branson got knocked around last week by a good Bolivar team and fell to Central in a close game week 1.

Central @ Carthage
Having seen Central last week I can attest to the fact that they are much improved and have very good skill players. I think Carthage wins by a few scores though.

While I recognize that their first two opponents were not of the greatest caliber, Neosho is looking good this year. They've scored 46 points in each of their games so far this season and their defense has only given up one TD so far total.

They certainly pass the eyeball test (their line is massive!...) They are looking more and more like the old Neosho (Willard might have quite the fight on their hands this week...)
