Webb City @ Harrisonville

Battle @ Carthage

Webb is clicking on all cylinders and I don't see them stopping anytime soon. CJ had no answer for Webb City all night except for Buckmaster calling timeouts inside a minute. All joking aside, Webb is the for real and Harrisonville couldn't even beat Pittsburg earlier in the year. Durand Henderson is one of the best backs in the state and Webb will ride him offensively to the championship. Webb 42-14

Earlier in the year, I would have picked Battle to win this game. As of late, I think it's Carthage. Battle has been struggling to put a lot of points on the board. Carthage has limited their last two opponents to under 13 points. Battle will have to travel down to the SWMO and try to knock off the tigers on Friday night. Both teams are 8-3 and fighting for semifinal berth. This will be one heck of a game. Tigers 30-22

It is an interesting friday night. The same two COC teams that were left standing last year playing the same opponents, both looking to avenge season ending losses. Host teams have flipped.

Webb City is just outstanding right now. I think they will succeed in their quest to avenge last years loss, probably in convincing fashion.

On Carthage, I'm in the same boat as COCmedium. If they had narrowly eeked out of an admittedly weaker than usual district I would have serious concerns. But they are playing some excellent football and won the district by a mile. Battle is a high caliber team that demands respect and I know the Tigers were glad to find out they would get another shot at them. I think it will be a close, hard fought "battle". If they play with confidence and prevent turnovers, I like Carthage at home on a friday night.
