I was supposed to get 10 grand once for summer weighs but after the AD and hfc took their share it was 2.

Crest Ridge is a complete shit show. Admins and parents are insane. There's a reason Cavanah jumped ship when he did.

I had the great pleasure of covering Chris Cavanah his senior year here in Princeton. Teammates liked him, other students liked him, teachers liked him - just a good solid young guy back then. Not surprised he had success at CR as a coach; just seemed like the kind of guy who would work hard to make a program a success. As far as CR being a shit show, I got no idea, but I will accept the opinions of folks down that way.

What happened at Cape?
They went 1-9. Almost blew their only win in week 2. Got horribly outscored their last four games. I’m not sure if Pixley is leaving on his own, forced to resign or flat out fired.

Does anyone know the story behind this? Hotmer is a great young coach, Princeton went 12-1 just a year ago.
He told me - and I used it as a direct quote in the story I wrote for my 12-27 edition - that he is following God's lead. At that time, he didn't have a job lined up and hadn't applied for a job. Just about everybody up this way really likes the guy and appreciate how he led the turnaround of the program here. He (and his wife) are just good, solid, agenda-free, young Christian folks. The decision/announcement pretty much took everybody, even the folks at the school, by absolute surprise.

Legit search I have heard 2 names interested In it. I don't think they will hire within.
Last 3 head coaches (Nesbit, Thomas, St. Clair) are all in the Hall of Fame and all were hired from within. Hannibal has a great staff and at least one is well qualified to continue their success. They’ll be very good next year with 8 starters returning on defense and 4 outstanding running backs if the folks doing the hiring don’t listen to all the Monday morning QB’s who want to see 50 passes a game.
