Just saw the docs were found last fall and given to the National Archives. I'd say there were will be many questions to answer about this.
They were turned in. There should be zero discussion. But it’s going to be exaggerated and dramatized as being the same as President Insurrection’s total disregard for rules.
At least they self reported and turned over all the found documents. Still, it sure opens the door for the Trump lawyers to defend.
No worries, Obama thought about them and they were declassified. Seriously, he should be asked and have to answer the same questions as Trump, and if he broke the law we may have 2 ex presdients in the pen. My guess is he didn't do anything as significant as Trump, but I could be wrong, and he should have to answer.
Biden should step down. President Harris can take over effectively destroying every plan the GOP has to attack Hunter and Joe the next two years.

It's all media driven political drama. I never thought anything would happen to Trump over the Mar a Lago docs other than a hand slap. After all, there's no evidence he has leaked any classified info.
Did Trump or Biden personally take the classified docs out of the WH, or did some aide box them up? My guess would be aides did it, and doubt if either man knew exactly what every piece of paper contained that was taken when they left office. Has no president before Trump ever taken classified docs among their papers when they left office?

It’s Trump’s reaction that is criminal. He refused to return the documents when told to and lied/obstructed those investigating. That is why they had to execute a search warrant.
You are right that he will get away with everything. He has his entire life. He gets “fined” or those around him go to prison. His campaign chiefs, his CFO, his lawyers. Everyone but him.
Trump refused legal orders to return them and repeatedly said they belong to him. I think they should do a search of all Biden properties to make sure and be fair but the docs in his case were found in an office outside the WH, not his home, and they were turned over to the National Archives almost immediately. They should be questioned about the delay in reporting this to the public. Marjorie Taylor Greene say Biden should be impeached and that's what they will do. Do they really want to make Harris President for 2 years? 🤔

Ok we knew this was coming, they have found more docs at another location. How ever they got where they are some of Biden's people had to take them there. If he didn't know it he should have. He should resign immediately and let Harris take over and pick her VP. I don't know what that process looks like, does anyone/group have to approve the new VP or do they just get the job? She should pick the young guy from Illinois that was on the Jan. 6th committee and was a republican congressman and he did not run for office again. Wouldn't that cause the pubs to have a meltdown!!!

I haven't figured out why a VP needs an off site office much less two of them. He had an office in the WH and one in the VP residence. Maybe when you leave office you need to rent some space to store stuff til you can get it all taken care of but not for 6 years and not when you've been president for 2 two years. No telling what office space rents for in that area, why would you still be paying for that 6 years later?

The first place I saw this reported was on CNN, CBS says Adriana Diaz broke the story and both have covered it non stop since that time.

The question is are they treating it like they did Trump?
As far as I can tell they are. They are talking about the difference between the Biden response and the Trump response one it became public. The Archives and the DOJ had discussions with the Trump team for 2 years and Trump still wouldn't give them permission to take the docs so they had no choice but to do the red lights and swat team looking approach to go in and take them and still weren't told where more docs were stored. While Biden and his people didn't make this public for a couple of months they are cooperating without search warrants and red light raids.
One difference is and if I missed the discussion I apologize is that he was the vice president. V.P.s cannot declassify.
As bad as I hate the Don, I will have to see proof that he used classified information for anything illegal or unethical. I haven't heard one report of any Trump activity related to classified information. Even Trump is innocent until proven guilty.
