Based on previous posts, MSHSAA more than likely is planning on making changes, what makes the most sense to you?

My OCD would love to have perfect 8 districts with 8 teams in each class.

What really needs to happen is Class 1 needs to be the class with 32 teams. Then split the other classes up evenly.
I think the Class 1 teams should be separate from the other classes. MSHSAA just have Classes 2-6.

I prefer one that puts Webb City in the top 5% of the enrollment of the classification again. That way they can keep winning state titles.

Yeah, they just can’t do it as a small school in class 5, as evidenced by last year.

I voted for one but I really think there needs to be a cap. Say 180 (3 classes). Now when teams go to 8-man and are replaced with class 2 school, the gap keeps getting wider.

7 Classes
Class 1 and 2 32 Teams, and Class 7 16 Teams and Class 3-6 divided evenly

Class 1 (32)
90-165

Class 2 (32)
167-232

Class 3 (58)
233-371

Class 4 (57)
371-578

Class 5 (58)
593-1020

Class 6 (58)
1036-1481

Class 7 (16).
1490-1878

Interesting. I think we should just have a one round, head vs head, everybody plays one game, all winners get awarded a state title.

haha funny, but really i think going 7 Classes could make a big difference. 1. Class 1 definitely a problem, 70% of District Champions were the Top half of teams in Class 1. 2. it will Help with the Class differential in Classes 3-6. 3. Webb City would be playing Teams that they can win a state Championship again.
