Class and District Assignments

This is how I would break down the numbers. Took into consideration there are so many small schools in Missouri.

Class 1- 132 lower. 160 teams. 10 teams in each district.
Class 2- 133-269. 128 teams. 8 teams in each district
Class 3- 271-538. 96 teams. 6 teams in each district
Class 4- 539-1090 86 teams. 5/6 teams in each district
Class 5- 1092 above 64 teams. 4 teams in each district.

Again approximate numbers. Tried to close the game in Class 4. Expand a little more in class 3. Thoughts

Again, you can not just look at schools but at the gender with the most schools which in basketball is boys. The 64th largest in class 5 is at 1074.

You are going to have to borrow from Peter to pay Paul...the small schools then have a way bigger field to compete against quantity wise to give the enrollment equity at class 4...which still isn't great.

Boy that puts Transportation & Law around the Class 2 level!
