All four are 6-1 and two of the losses are head to head with the other two to the #1 rated teams in C5 and C3. Amazing stuff thus far. How Week 8 looks on Hwy 92:
Kearney a huge favorite over Ray South.
Smithville a moderate to high favorite over Grandview (I advise they don't look past these Bulldogs, though).
Platte County another huge favorite over Winnetonka.
Excelsior Springs perhaps a slight favorite over Warrensburg. By far the hardest of the four to figure.
Ray South way down
Grandview Better than Tonka and Ray South.
Tonka at this point, playing for next year.

Kearney, the most impressive thing, is they score a bunch of pts. set up by variety of different ways .
Platte County, the rotating defense is working.
Smithville clearly the 3rd best team in a conference that's not too impressive unless SV, K and PC are playing each other.

The team that played close to NKC? They have size and athleticism. If they could find some consistency, they could give several teams fits in D7.

Unless they end up on the same side of the D7 bracket I have Grandview rematching Grain Valley for the title.............and potentially winning it.
