Congratulation to all the girls on this list!

I will have to say I am a dad of a senior softball girl and I have to say I am disapointed that she did not make the list. Can anyone explain the process?

Is it by Position? By stats? Is it political?

I only ask because there are girls on this list who's teams did not make it even to the District championship game, and their stats that do not rise above. Just trying to figure out how a girl that bats over 500 for the year, that played on a team that made it to sectionals, does not make the list. When girls that can not say this about them selves did. I know you say competition... She batted 500 in the district Championship game as well as the Regional game and had homeruns in both games...

I am sure that all the girls on this list are great softball players, not taking away from their accomplishments, just trying to understand the process.
