Gotta think Fair Grove benefits from not having to make the long bus ride over to SCA country. Still can’t believe Thayer got bumped up to Class 2 this year.

They’d been borderline the last few years. Kind of like Hillcrest, their enrollment was less than WP last year, then this year they’re more than WP and they get the bump to 5 instead of the Zizzers.
Doing districts yearly is a cluster, but depending on how many schools go 8 man and etc etc, wouldn’t be shocked to see Thayer back down in 1 next year

I don't really think it is that tough. You have one really good team, maybe a state title team. Then 3 SCA teams that are average and benefit from the SCA being down. Clever has been a nice surprise but they aren't really good.

Fair point (see what I did there)....but they also got to the semis last year. So I would say they have been pretty good for the last 2 years. And safe to say head and shoulders above the rest of that district
