Cj 14 lamar 14 end 1st

Everyone (and after tonight's result frankly justifiably so.........very enjoyable reading) is paying attention to C2 Lamar but nobody on here seems to talk about C3 machine Maryville..............another smaller school that could be a real headache for many C5-C6 schools.

Top, haven't ever watched maryville but would like to. I would love to see Lamar play them. I hate that the system doesn't somehow line up games based on the top teams out of the classes at least 1 class up...but would be very difficult unless they rewarded points based on doing so. I mean Lamar plays up yes, but reward them for playing up to prior year teams that make it as for as you did in the playoffs....something like that. Could really see some exciting games. Valle goes to Lamar, Lamar to Maryville, and so on. I'm dreaming now.

Not wanting to be argumentative, however I question how it is one teams responsibility to play up to prove their worth. I appreciate that you gave props for Lamar already playing up, however (and I may have misunderstood) anything beyond what is expected out of conference would risk unnecessary injury and could be detrimental to post season accomplishment. Lamar will add Valle and continue to add additional teams should the regular season give them reason to add teams if more teams drop out.
In conclusion there has to be some consideration of what is best for the players, and what is conducive to their being rewarded in respect to their size. As parents, we certainly love living through our kids, however we have to make sure we do not pursue things that do not benefit them to simply boost the parents esteem.
