pretty much season over. Thought I remembered Reid in Philly going for the throat but guess I was way off. 17-3 midway through the third Charles goes out, have a very short field goal blocked same series and cant get close to scoring again. Smith is catching the blame on the CHIEFS sites, whatever, dude threw like 10 passes after half. 148 yards and a TD first half, like 28 on 9 passes second half with the important one Maclin dropping before the 67 yard field goal atttempt, lol . Sickening, offense had the ball under 10 minutes second half. I think Andy needs someone else callling plays. Oh well we still got the Royals!!!!! Oh wait they lost as well..............

True that...........unfortunately I don't think (very, very understandable and way too close to home for me) Andy has not been the same since his son's untimely death. The O Line is a pretty obvious weak spot (Jake Long showed Eric Fisher et al how to pass block big time yesterday) and I've not had a good feeling about this team's unity from day one. Now as for the Royals they are in the playoffs as division champs and basically did all that can be done vs. Keuchel in Minute Maid where he is unbeaten. I am not worried one bit about them even if they lose because this is what MLB is all about. The playoffs are wide, wide open.

IMO there is no excuse for the construct of the Oline. I'm really beginning to have my doubts about Dorsey as GM and chief talent evaluator. When your best offensive weapon is your RB, you would think that the Oline would be a priority. The history of the Chiefs has always been to do things on the cheap. Some things never change...

"Doing things on the cheap" that's Clark Hunts fault. I am not sold on Dorsey's ability when he is running the show alone. Seems like the same senario as Pioli. Was good at their former job where they had people overseeing their decisions. I think we all know that Bellichick was the real brains in New England, as we are seeing that Ted Thompson is the brains in Green Bay. Clark Hunt likes cheap, and we have seen cheap since he has been in charge.

I'm not sure about the cheap stuff. The CHIEFS paid out the wahoo to sign Houston. Smith makes a buttload as does Hali. Personal opinion they've done a horrible job recruiting but I believe that's on Reid as much as anybody. I know the play calling is, which I hate and I realize the check downs are on Alex but when your getting pounded every game kinda easy to see why you would throw the quick screens. Reid has a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball and he did draft Peters which is a big plus but as said our oline is horrible.

I however am changing my mind on being done after San Diego lost. We don't have to be the best in the AFC just the West. I think that is still doable. I do not like what I see in Denver. They are winning but it's unexplainable and I can't imagine it will last. I still think getting in the playoffs and winning the west is doable, we have only had 1 division game. 7 left. I think West can fly much like Charles without the experience. Heck we might even need to go to Daniels and get a gunslinger attitude but my hope is still in it to win it. GO CHIEFS and vote for Chucky 2016

KC has to cut bait on Fisher. Put him at guard at least so he doesn't get the QB killed.

QB BTW, shouldn't there be at least a hint of controversy? Isn't Daniel more in the mold of a Russell Wilson type QB? Let's get our money out of him and have him start some. Might help Alex to watch a few games..

I dont know but he is in his 5th year. After 3 in NO and 2 in KC I would think if he was a worthy starter hed be starting somewhere. Obviously something is there we dont see. Also Alex is 9th in yards. Its not like the guy isnt throwing the ball around especially considering hes been sacked 21 times, one time less than ironically enough Russel Wilson whos been sacked the most with 22. Wilson has 6 tds 3 ints, Smith 5 Tds 3 ints. Interesting fact Peyton Manning stats vs Smiths..

Manning 120 of 189 63.5% 6 tds 7 ints 1234 yards 6.53 yards per att 12 sacks
Smith 109 of 173 63 % 5 tds 3 ints 1291 yards 7.46 yards per att 21 sacks

Alex gets a bad rap from everyone egged on I believe by commentators without anyone looking at #s. My guess when the guys are calling a game and saying he just dont throw down field he only throws screens etc if someone were to bring up others stats like Peytons the guys wouldnt believe it. I think hes ranked like 12th in yards per attempt. And only like 13 have a higher QB rating. The blame is elsewhere but being the leader I guess you get the blame.
