For the record. None of the Dem. candidates are smart either.
Neither are tRUMP supporters. We know which does more damage to this country. Right tRUMP supporters.
After reading your posts or insults, the same thing, I have some concerns.
You make some wide general claims. Where do these un-original fantastic ideas come from? It reminds me of a cult. A seance that repeats you are a nazi, a racist and Trump is the apocalypse.
Kind of religious. Of course, you can't name a single instance of personal experience other than what you've been told or heard, so I don't hold you responsible. (What damage? How were you hurt?) I hold leftwing media, Hollywood, Educators and alleged intellectuals responsible, some on the right. I could name a few dozen examples but by now you probably are not reading this anyway. It's OK with me.
I love the Democratic candidate's platform. (Keep in mind it's really not the Democrats anymore, it's leftism)
1. Trump is terrible, Conservatives are ____and we hate you.

We hate the West, it's a deeply unfair and unjust place so put us in charge, so we can take over the health care system, election system, insurance, fossil fuels and energy, the economy, immigration, police and the money I earn and spend it through our entitlements. It's fascinating how the left calls my money their entitlements. Or Abortion is Reproductive Rights or Healthcare. They literally change the terms of language (to lie) and call it something that it isn't. (They have repeated their language mantra talking points over and over so many times, they think it's real. In reality, it's a miserable fantasy land).
BTW, we want to leave you defenseless by taking your life-saving tools. So in case you rebel or speak out we will crush you.
4. If you do not bend the knee to our language or authority, or have a different opinion on how to live your life, we will repeat #1 to stop the discussion before it can begin.

I have no idea about her reason, I think the person that gets the most votes in an election should win. If the national system is so great why haven't states adopted the same thing?

In 18 years and 7 months I have averaged 1.9. This is why I respond to you, because of domination. There is no telling how many times you have been blacklist from this site, but my best guess is at least 3 or 4 times to say the least.

You asked a question and I gave you my answer. How should I know why she wants to do away with the EC? I pay no attention to her but I do know why I have been saying forever that the EC is just plain silly! Why can't a majority of the PEOPLE of this country aren't allowed to pick a president? Why don't YOU ever tell me why states don't use an EC to elect a governor and why they don't use it to elect their representatives in DC?
The stuff I highlighted is the reason we don't elect by direct vote. You "don't know" and don't "pay attention" to a lot of things. Now imagine that times 75% of the electorate. The VAST majority of people have NO IDEA what the people they vote for actually stand for either because they're dumb, they don't actually care, or they simply don't have the time necessary to properly educate themselves.
Direct election or "mob rule" is a terrible idea due to the reality that the voting public, by and large, simply isn't educated well enough to make an informed decision.
Like I said, you are a perfect example of that. You preface most of your posts with "I don't know" or "I don't follow ____" and then spout your opinion about that topic anyway, which is certainly your right, but it makes for scary elections.
It's laughable that you think it should change now. You do realize it was established by the founding fathers and has been around since 1787 right?

That is absurd! We don't electors to vote how they think is best in the electoral college. We elect them to vote the way our state voted. If they don't there would be a revolt. If 43 electors had voted for Clinton instead of Trump you would have thrown a huge fit, even though those people could hypothetically say "Well I have been paying attention and this guy is not who should be running our country." The electoral college is truly outdated. This isn't the 1700's where it took days and weeks for information to get somewhere. People know who they are voting on. They may not watch every debate, and they may not know every plank of a platform, but considering the low percentage of people who take the time, to go stand in line or vote by mail, they know who they are voting for.
Conservatives and republicans love the EC because they would have only won one election since the turn of the century without it. Just be honest!
America was not racist for 8 sec. in 2008. Then it became racist again. It's more racist now since Kamala had to drop out of the Dem primary. Evidently because people of color are racist and sexist. It's enjoyable to see them accuse each other or eat one another over sex and skin color.

Not a very good example. There has been only 3 presidents in that time frame. You are talking about 7% of the presidents elected.
And make sure your facts are correct before you post something. GWB won the EC in 2000 over Gore (271 to 266) but lost by 500k in popular votes.

It has nothing to do with Trump, I've hated the EC ever since I could vote, it just makes NO sense at all!
Once again I'll ask if the EC way is so great why don't we have to use the same standard for elections for the people we send to DC who MAKE the freakin laws we have to live by? Those folks have more say in our daily lives than any president will ever have. Why don't states use an EC to elect our governor?
Why does it matter to you then? If you don’t think the president makes the laws we live by, then why do you care how he or she gets elected?

JM lost popular vote 2008 lost EC
MR lost popular vote 2012 lost EC
DT lost popular vote 2016 won EC
There have been 5 elections, 2 went the Republican way because of the EC, and in reality, GWB probably loses the 2004 election if he were not an incumbent.

Castro has made some solid points, admittedly I haven't paid as much attention since the 2nd debate, but I remember a lot of what he said made a lot of sense.
I also don't remember him playing the Hispanic card, although that doesn't mean he hasn't.
