I think Fort Osage will be a solid favorite to beat Battle, but I think Carthage and Chaminade is a toss-up.
Enlighten us STL_Dan? What is Chaminade like?Just kiddin', ChuckleDucks.
csnANDy, have you seen Chaminade play in person this year? If so, what can you tell us from that perspective?

Carthage has one loss to Webb City, public school kids, and a knack for scoring 1 or 2 more points than their opponents. Potent offense if healthy. Defense a little porousChaminade is the 2nd best team in St. Louis, for whatever that is worth. Only loss was to CBC, who is a class by themselves. Very solid line and good skill kids, playmakers on offense and defense. Dominated the quarterfinal match but did not put points on the board, seem to have trouble finishing drives. What does Carthage have? I will go with Chaminade and Fort Osage in the semfinals.
Carthage at Chaminade should be a shootout (would not be surprised to see similar score to Carthage-Nixa quater last week) unless the weather has something to say about it (will be very cold and windy). Fort should win at the LOS vs. Battle and Skylar Thompson is guaranteed to be the biggest playmaker on that field. Back in July I (not, of course, knowing MSHSAA was going to realign the playoff brackets) predicted Carthage vs. Fort O in the semis...................will take that for the Dome.Which 2 teams advance to the Dome??
What does Carthage have? They have a bunch of kids that play their role! Above average line play. A QB that can make a play!Chaminade is the 2nd best team in St. Louis, for whatever that is worth. If you look at the numbers both Chaminade and Carthage are about even! A porous defense? Probably not! They have given up some points in the playoffs! 2 repeat games of regular season and a belton running back that was pretty good!Carthage has one loss to Webb City, public school kids, and a knack for scoring 1 or 2 more points than their opponents. Fort should win the matchup. Fort's defense is playing extremely well shutting down a potent Park Hill. As long a Thompson remains healthy Fort's offense is good enough win the next two games. If Fort has to rely on handing it off to a RB it'll be a tight ball game.Which 2 teams advance to the Dome??
