What's the link to watch? I'd rather watch that than the two higher rated teams of Staley #1 C5 vs. #2 C6 LSW. But I'm sure I will check in on that game too.

I say Webb by 14. Enough with the Webb bashing. Its like a bunch of hungry dogs when you think you have a lame animal here. They just had a let down on Branson. Come back coming.
I haven't read too many, if any, posts "bashing" Webb.
The injuries maybe change the outlook but not drastically. The forecast is somewhat questionable so we'll see if that ends up a wildcard. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. I think it will be close but also wouldn't be surprised if it was a landslide for either team. Not much room for error for either team.
I can tell you that most Webb fans (that I've encountered) aren't expecting a contest. I see a lot of discussion on social media among my Webb friends asking "who is going to the game friday", answers like "yeah - who are we beating this week??". And already received advance consolation messages from some WC friends as if a slaughtering has already happened. I've just come to expect that from those guys, ha.

I think if Webb can string together 12plus play drives and keep Carthage on the field then they win it with their depth because Carthage plays several lineman both ways . If they are going 3 and out or turning the ball over , Carthage will walk all over them

Currently vote is 13 each. May be close? After both had played Joplin I felt like WC had a chink in their armor. Confirmed last week at Branson. Not saying they'll play that poorly again but maybe this team has shades of the one they had a couple years ago. Maybe a little "me" over "team" attitude and I think I saw WC has 5 turnovers this year. Carthage did a good job of playing physical. Spread you out, run it down field, mix in some jet sweep and a couple passes to keep you honest. The Tiger's QB is the real deal when he is in there. Sounds likely not? Branson showed the recipe last week and the Tigers are much better. Carthage wins this one 28-21.
Webb’s players never overlook Carthage even if it’s a down Carthage year. This should be an instant classic. Carthage will have the horses to compete for state the next 3 season. I’ll take Webb by 3
Dinged up against NOSHO I think they said. Not serious but smart getting him healthy for a playoff run instead of making it worse.
The sophomore qb will give wc and the conference fits the next couple of years. Once again, WC made the plays they needed to while their opponent did not. Looked like Carthage RB scored on the short pass. He's marked down a few inches short and then turn it over a couple plays later. Never understood the shotgun in short yardage.
Said on the news hes probably done for the season. Carthage seems to have a curse as of late on injured Sr qb's!
Season huh? Hate to hear that. Typically 6 weeks with a couple to rehab. I was hoping he would be back for post season. I think Carthage will end up with a first round bye.
