Picked up the game live streaming last night. Central has a very good team with some young athletic players. They are going to have some success this year and beyond. Carthage also has some good athletes, they just didn’t move the ball around much to get open shots. Too much get the ball and drive cost them last night against a very good Central team.

Central has several options with Starks-Fewell, Vinson and B. Walker to open up their whole offense. Carthage was able to break any pressing and trapping, but turned the ball over too many times in the halfcourt game. Only hit 3 treys on the night, but the turnovers limited their shot selection to where they only attempted about 10 overall where they typically shoot 15-20. Carthage trailed by 15-16 early in the 3rd and got it to 3-4 late, but Central was able to trade baskets too many times with a 10 point lead.
