Carthage got off to a hot start behind Emery's shooting and led 8-2 early before Ozark called a quick timeout. Derryberry and McAtee quickly got into foul trouble after that. Both came in with 1-2 minutes left in the 1st, but both picked up their 3rd foul in the 1st quarter. McAtee and Derryberry were on the bench for most of the 2nd quarter allowing Ozark to push the tempo of the game and go on a huge run. Derryberry and McAtee both came back in towards the end of the half and picked up their 4th foul. Derryberry fouled out midway through the 3rd quarter while McAtee fouled out late in the 3rd and both teams played reserves/JV for most of the 2nd half.
