As others have said, I think the overall level of play is down quite a bit this year. For Ozark, I think there's still a potential path to 3rd place in the COC even with this level of play compared to years past. Carthage graduated the program's all-time scoring leader, was down 4 players with injury tonight (3 in the rotation) and was tied after 3 quarters. On the other hand, Joplin could go 0-9 in conference play and held them to 8 points in the 1st half on Tuesday.
