Next level? DeSmet was state champs in 2019 and state runners-up in 2020. Going to another level will be tough to achieve.

With all that talent, I would think the most important thing coming from the coach would be to make sure you have the correct times and dates on the bus request forms for game days. Just don’t screw it up

Carl already has shown the ability to get his twitter following to rally against a MSHSAA decision that he doesn't like (Travion Ford initial ruling).. he won't have an issue getting new recruits in there but we'll really see what kind of paper spine MSHSAA has if they let him bring along the LN guys.

MSHSAA let a kid throw punches (yes more than 1) in a quarterfinal game in the basketball playoffs and still let the kid play for Cardinal Ritter. Vouchers will be passed in the government so the players can have their tuition paid for by tax incentive businesses and they will automatically be eligible. The only question I have is how in the world will Coach Reed get those Desmet kids to buy into his offense after they have had great success with the spread.

DeSmet’s AD was serving as offensive coordinator under Coach Steeples and (given the relationship between said AD and Coach Reed, and given the fact Coach Reed hired an off. coord. to run the Lutheran North offense) it’s very safe the believe DeSmet will keep the same offense.
