Carl Junction 57 Republic 54 Final

How is CJ playing with the younger Scott girl playing the point? That would be one heck of a matchup problem I would think.
It sort of looks odd--anyway to me--but it's working well so far. Katie (younger girl) looks to have more agility than her sister. Sometimes they switch and Megan brings ball down. It's early in the season, but it's working really well. Teams try to press sometimes, but they're tall enough to pass over opponent and down the court. They move so well for their size with good ball handling skills. It's still early and opponents will come up with some plan, but right now it's very entertaining to watch them.

They would still be better with the original point guard.

My daughter was the starting point guard for the 8th grade girls team at CJ this year. I don't even know if we will have enough for the freshman team next year.
We're going to need her next year. Hope we have a freshman team. All I can think of is maybe the new girl's swim team have some of our players.

I know one girl in 8th grade quit basketball because she is doing swim next year. The current 9th grade class nevet had many girls playing basketball all the way back to elementary school.
