Carl junction 39 Lutheran St Charles 44 final

Definitely weak, but if a ref sees that extension they're calling it
It’s believed she was directing her teammate to get in position for a possible outlet pass in addition to it being a little juke/fake to throw off the in-the-lane defender. She had no idea someone was bearing down on her from behind, so she wasn’t even intentionally attempting to create some space. You can even see the trailer darting for the other CJ player and putting her arms in the air in an attempt to block the potential passing lane.

At this point, it’s all just interesting sports debate. Some will always believe it was a terrible call at the most critical juncture of the most important game of the year (me), while others saw a probable or possible foul (and if that’s you, I hope it never happens to your favorite team, but that’s sports).

No way that was a motion to direct a teammate.

It looks to me like she got caught by surprise with someone coming up from that angle and put her arm out to brace for contact and/or protect the ball. It did not seem like an extension to create space either. I think it would be best left as incidental contact and play on.

People argue about the 5th foul, and I get it, but the 1st and 4th fouls were as bad or worse. The 2nd and 3rd fouls were legit.

Interesting. This was the coach at CJ before Shorter. She left on her own.

You resign in an email? Kinda low class IMO. Doesn't your team deserve to have a face to face meeting to share such news?
