Why on earth did they pitch to Goldie in that situation? A couple of weeks ago I might not have thought too much about it but he's been on fire and 1st base was open.

If they pitched to them at situation they were dumb too. I'm bettin they got a lot of walks in that scenario.

Probably a mixture of each of those. I'd add "Competitiveness" to the mix.
