According to the Valdosta State web site, the St. Louis Cardinals drafted former Three Rivers catcher Adam Burton in the 38th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft last week. Burton caught at the University of Arkansas-Monticello this season, a conference rival of Valdosta. Congrats to Adam Burton on getting a chance to go to the pros!
