Cardinal Ritter District Question

Great question. Only MSHSAA could screw this up and allow Cardinal Ritter to get like a 6 seed and someone like the 3rd seed getting a bye. Will be interesting to see what happens. MSHSAA is so relieved that the Archdiocese let them off the hook that they probably haven't even thought about this.
I can’t imagine anything except moving everyone up a spot and 1 seed gets a bye.
Is that a prediction or do you know for sure? That’s the way it should be. Emphasis on the word “should.”
Technically, where they end up in seeding is where they should stay. It’s not a bye, it’s a forfeit. Theoretically, Ritter could still come back and decide to play

If they forfeit all their games, they'll be 0-9 and will get the last seed. Then they'll forfeit that game, too, effectively giving a bye to the 1-seed.
If MSHSAA does nothing with computer rankings CR will be 5th seed at 0-9.

seems like the posters aren’t understanding this lol even if CR is 0-9 they still wont be the last seed based off points which speaks to how awful the bottom of this district is.
Ritter is not being put in the 8th seed unless that is where they end up after the forfeit this week. If they end up in the 6th seed the 3rd seed will get the forfeit. MSHSAA is letting the point system do its thing. They did not hand out the punishment so they are letting the point system do it's thing. They could end up the 8th seed if that is where the system lands them.
Mike is a renowned mighty might coach. It has been my experience that they know everything even when they don’t.

The bottom of the District IS bad, but Ritter would have significant District points simply bc they play so many teams above Class 2. You get those points even in a loss.
Don’t know how everyone missed the part where The Archdiocese CANCELED Ritter’s season on Friday. ALL the coaches were fired, too.
That “whooshing” sound you hear is MSHSAA, relieved AF to not have to actually do their jobs and adjudicate the violation quickly.
