What can people tell me about the Cape Central team? I know they lost 3 out of their first 5 but it looks like they've been on a roll since then and the win over MICDS was impressive.

I would say that win over MICDS is their only real “quality” win the entire season.
Any other time they played a good team during the season, they lost.

This win was not far from Center upsetting unbeaten Ray-Pec in 2001. Once in a long while one of these happens...............

Cape Central lost three games early to Jackson, Hillsboro, and Park Hills Central...but this EXTREMELY YOUNG team improved a lot during the season and have won 8 in a row down the stretch.

They only have 5 seniors on the roster and they start 3 freshmen and 8 sophomores.

They are playing with house money at this point...NOBODY expected them to get this far with such a young team this season!

Things I saw from the game

Cape’s pass coverage was top notch
Their pursuit lines against 2 of the better runners in C5 were really good.
They dominated the line of scrimmage

They are playing good football.

After MICDS scored it was like the defense knew what play was coming. Good on Cape, they played a much better game.

Those dang Tigers have turned in a heck of a season. Happy for them. Who would have thought at the beginning of the season it wouldn't be Jackson but the other school from.Cape Girardeau County preparing to host a final four game?
