Good lord there are some ignorant people on this board. Do you actually not know what the word “amazing” means???
Cantrel is about 6’8” tall and weighs around 300 pounds. With his size and weight it is not amazing that he can throw a steel ball 70’,,,,,,now if he was 5’9” and 140 pounds then it would be truly amazing if he could throw 70’.
If he could pole vault 19’ that would be truly AMAZING
With his size it is not amazing at all he is a decent lineman at the high school level. Again if he was 5’9” and 140 pounds and got a scholarship to a college as a lineman THAT would be truly AMAZING

Name me the number of Sophmores (a young sophomore at that) that have thrown a steel ball 74'. I have seen some massive throwers not get close to that distance. That distance is not easy, even for his size. He beat the Missouri State record by over 7 feet, and he was just a sophomore. How is it not amazing?

Not the all class state record. He broke the class 5 record (Class 4 was a farther distance). Class 5 has not been around that long. But yes, as a Freshman he threw over 63', and set that record.

He also broke the national record for a sophomore. I would call that amazing.
But he has narrowed it down to 14 schools😂
He scored a 33 on his ACT as an eighth grader.
I mean, that may not be amazing because he didn’t do it as a third grader, but there’s not many five star athletes who can say that.

Just because you're 6'8 300 doesn't mean you're expected to throw the shot and discus like this AMAZING young man, have you ever tried throw shot and discus, clearly not for you to make such an ridiculous comment
Considering his parents, I'd say he was expected to throw the shot a good distance.
