Kid from St. Michaels and hearing the kid from Joplin are headed to Prep Schools for their senior years so private schools are not the only problem. What is wrong with moving districts around each year? There will always be a district or 2 loaded.....

Heard the prep school that Guillary ( kid from Joplin ) is going to, somehow is allowed to reclassify him as a junior, so he will get 2 more years of HS ball to prepare for college ball.

Do you think Webb has grown enough to be bumped up a class in boys basketball?

Depends on the Prep School and the situation. Some, especially in the NE part of the country or the military academies have a rich history of academics, etc. Some are fly-by-night outfits that seemingly come and go.

They are becoming more popular in basketball because of the money involved, the number of games and high profile tournaments an athlete can play and the schedule and talent involved. For example, 30 of the top 50 players in the 2020 class attend some version of a prep school.

But they're not all the same.

With that said, Guillory is not in that category as a player and I have no idea about his situation per say.

Guillory is going to New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire. Tuition with room and board is $62500 a year.

Top bad that kid from Joplin left. My kids go there so it is fun when they are good.
