Have any other DirecTV customers had trouble streaming Cardinals games on the new Bally Sports app? Our DirecTV package included Fox Sports Midwest, and now includes Bally Sports Midwest. Last season we were able to stream games fine through the Fox Sports app, but the Bally app keeps saying we're not entitled to the content. Have contacted both, and neither Bally nor DirecTV have been able to resolve the issue yet. Thanks!

You tried deleting the app and adding it back? Hearing that has done the trick for some. Hearing that app is nothing but hot garbage.

Also read where you have to register with Bally's app, that it doesn't link like the old Fox Sport app did.

I just wish they would stop bouncing the games around to different networks all the time. I get them on my cable outlet if I can figure out which one they're on that night.

Lol. It seems to get harder and harder to watch a product that is getting worse and worse. It's why I don't really care that I'm not watching...which is crazy for me to say. We have Hulu+Live (switch to YouTubeTV during NFL season just so we can get Redzone) and I'm not willing to fork out the extra $20 (it's really $25 extra for us because we bundle Disney+ and ESPN+ with Hulu) for AT&T TV. I was, however, willing to fork out the $85 for MLB.TV but living where we do says we're in the "local" viewing area. It's batcrap. MLB structures their agreements this way so they can contract it for big bucks. In the process, they're losing out on fans. It's an interesting business model to make your game MORE DIFFICULT for people across all mediums to watch.

They seem to be doing all they can to make it harder to watch. I switched to AT&T TV so I could get Blues and Cards games. But I've watched way less sports on TV in the last year than ever before and I'm finding I don't really miss it.

I'm the same way. Kids and crazy schedule probably cause as much of it as anything, but I know if it were there I'd sit down and turn it on when they're in bed. The lack of fans has bored me some too. I think when it looks and sounds like it should again, I'll probably tune back in. I've found that the drama of it all is a thing for me watching sports. I never would've thought that before, but it is. I watched about 5 holes of the Masters a month ago. Normally I'd park on the couch Saturday and Sunday both and veg out. Just not as entertaining.

You sound like us, got tired of paying more and more for charter and all their boxes, fees, taxes, etc., switched to hulu, disney, netflix, prime, etc. to save money........and am almost paying the exact same thing. Can't win with some things huh
