How you can start the first four games, lead your team in minutes played, 134 and not make one trip to the foul line. You would think someone would slip and fall into him sending him to the line.

Kids have different roles on a team. His I am sure is a shooter. Most good defensive teams do not foul jump shooters...
I realize CVL isn't there for his driving ability but I'd think maybe once in a while he could come off a screen, catch the pass, give a good shot fake and take a dribble into the defense that's closing out on him and draw a foul. Especially with the new freedom of movement rules they're calling. The offense if being given the benefit of doubt even more than in the past. It's not real hard to draw a foul. I'd like to see him try occasionally. If nothing else it might cause the defense to hesitate on the close out and give him a better opportunity to actually get a shot off.
I see it too as he only shoots the ball 6 times a game. Not very good % to get fouled only shooting that many times. He is also 2nd on the team in assist as well which he is aggressive to the basket, just passing off for better shots. IMO.
Aggressive to the basket?? I guess I haven't seen that move yet. I'd like to see that happen. I believe he would draw a foul every now and then if he did make a move. The fact that he hasn't shot a single free three would tell me he ISN'T trying to be aggressive with the ball. He plays the entire game. They're in bonus a lot. You'd think he'd at least drawn 1 foul and shot a 1 and 1 at some point. I don't want him being overly aggressive because he's not that good with the ball but I would like to see him try a move once in a while. I think he could make FTs if he would just get to the line.
I guess he is the only one feeding the post then to be 2nd on the team in assists...
