Camp Reports?

Hearing park hill is the most explosive offense in the KC metro with our new move in PHS

Heard the UCM camp had a good turn out

Yeah, heard Kearney had their way at UCM for the most part. Then at Pitt St. handled Blue Springs SOuth and Carthage, with four starters not participating. GOing to be a long year if teams have to triple team #2. And #1 didn't play.

My sources said karney had 5-6 players out and some may be done for the season. Hearing the linebacker corps lost a ton and avoided contact. Heard from a reliable source at least 5 karney kids quit and 2-3 are done for the season with bone issues

What's football without a few broken bones now and then?

I did just hear rock bridge got smashed by karney backups. No clue what happened but those dudes didn’t make a play and got bullied by the karney kids.

I snagged a video of the Smithville offensive coaching staff rolling into an off season workout.

Wouldn’t share beyond this thread but check it out:

Did any of you actually make it out to UCM Camp? I'm curious how the new staff at West Plains looked.

Saw a Liberty/Rockhurst/St. James(Maybe) 7v7
Rockhurst doesn't look that awesome
If they are in class 6 this year, i wouldnt expect them to go very far
They might have a QB comp at some point this year. Kid running the 2's looked like he had a TON of potential, compared to the starter. But who know's how the starter will look closer to season. Could have just been a one day thing. Plus the 2's only went against other teams 2's

Liberty looked like they are in the middle of a QB battle. Had the returning starter and another kid splitting reps with the 1's. I believe the other kid got a few passes in in their semi final game last year but i dont think he did much. The returner looked a bit off but i did say last year that i believed he was the weak link of that powerful offense

St. James(Maybe, im like 60% sure) didn't do anything spectacular. Looked really safe in the play calling but it is only june

Liberty, coming into 2025, has what I call first World problems. This is that year after the stud RB graduates we've seen so many other programs excel at for some reason in the past.

Would you mind if i asked a few examples? Not doubting you whatsoever! Just dont know the information myself and im actually interested in that observation

Rockhurst will 100% be in Class 6
That's a bold claim for a school with 0 champ factor, was 18 kids from being C5 and has a enrollment trending down, enrollment dropped 96 from 2023 to 2024. They may play the enrollment game to get to C5 or it may happen naturally. Very interesting one to watch come august

Fort Osage 2009 is my favorite example. I don't have all my stuff, obviously, at work so will look up and post that later today.

Lee's Summit at Liberty is THE can't miss opener in KC this year. The year of the returning QB. BTW I have almost no examples of any teams running deeper in the playoffs after a top QB graduates....................

Might need to wait a day or two after the turn in date to enroll a couple of the tuba players huh

Like you said, with the Platte County QB back again, and all that next - level speed on Offense, it is computer game time.
