The California Lady Pintos knocked off the 4th ranked Hermann Lady Bearcats 50-48 at the Capital City Shootout today.
Hermann led 16-13 after the first quarter before the Lady Pintos grabbed at 30-29 lead at the half. A big third quarter by California put them on top 42-33 heading into the final quarter.
Elizabeth Lutz was named the MVP of the game.
California improves to 5-1 and will face Warsaw at 4pm on Friday in the opening round of the Tri-County Conference Tournament in Hallsville.
