He jumped 46+ in the triple. 22+ in the long jump and 6'11 in the high jump. Not bad for first meet of the year.

Where was this at? Not that it matters, but have been looking for a link to view other results of this meet, and can't find them.

John Farmer

John Farmer who was second to Lane last year in Class 3, jumped 23' 1.25" at Graceland University at the Bruce Jenner Indoor yesterday.

If anyone knows his coaches or himself, try to get a gauge on his interests in schools...I am pretty sure that I can get the University of Tennessee up here to look at him.

Either leave me some contact info here or email me at csimonrocks@yahoo.com, or 0811982@mobap.edu. Info about Sikeston's meet schedule will help too.
My friend/professional acquaintance is the sprints and jumps coach down in Knoxville, Norbert Elliott.

Sikeston has home track meets April 14, 17, 21 and May 8. I'm not sure of the away schedule at the moment.

Lane tripled jumped 48'10 1/2" last year at the state meet. I would not be surprised if at some point this year he busted out a 50-foot triple, a 25-foot long, and a 7-foot high. He also ran (or should I say jogged) a 11.0 flat 100 meters in cold conditions the other day. Nothing he does surprises me. He could probably win any event out there.

Re: INFORMATION REQUEST

I just talked to the Coach at UT and he wants some contact information. Could someone from Sikeston email me with either the school phone number or even Cal's number to pass on to him?
I believe I put my email out there, but here it is again:0811982@mobap.edu or csimonrocks@yahoo.comnf
