Impressive win by VC. Returned majority of O line and D line and have a bunch of tough kids, and lots of skilled athletes with speed. Good Jr QB Fallert has the Valle QB genes. VC is better than last year. St Marys looms in the distance.

I saw that. I’m not convinced St Dom is a dark horse in Class 4 anymore. Not taking anything away from Valle. Impressive for a school of their size.
Most of the STL schools don’t have a chance this year. Either they aren’t that great, or COVID restrictions and cases will end their seasons. (ST Mary’s might deal with that again) Class 6 is the best bet. Maybe class 3 with St Mary’s. Valle might make some noise.
It was really impressive after Chase Fallert suffered an injury in the 1st quarter, his 1st cousin Grant Fallert, a sophomore, stepped in and stepped up to the challenge. Hoping Chase's injury is not serious. We already lost 1 starter for the season.

Someone on the broadcast last evening mentioned that 1 of St. Dom's better players was out due to covid. Not sure of the circumstances at all but it would seem likely that he was around the other team members. No doubt that a team that stays healthy has a leg up on the rest.
