The ball did hit the ground......and....it was a first down. It so hard when they are so obvious the announcers are questioning the calls. Lol.
It would help a lot if you boys understood the rules of Professional football. The ball did hit the ground......and....it was a first down. It so hard when they are so obvious the announcers are questioning the calls. Lol.

The facts don't matter. Chiefs living rent free in everyone's head!https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-rulebook/#rule8
"A catch is made when a player inbounds secures possession of a pass, kick, or fumble that is in flight. An interception is made when an opponent who is inbounds catches a forward or backward pass or a fumble that has not touched the ground.
Notes:
- It is a catch, or an interception, if, in the process of attempting to possess the ball, a player secures control of the ball prior to it touching the ground, and that control is maintained during and after the ball has touched the ground."
This one i agree with the ball didn't move and mutual possession goes to offense. It would help a lot if you boys understood the rules of Professional football.
In the NFL if the player has control of the ball, the fact that the ball touches the ground does not make it an incomplete pass

Read beyond the plain text. The ball must not move while contacting the ground. Ball moving results in a ground assisted catch and therefor...incomplete. typacal kc fan reply. It would help a lot if you boys understood the rules of Professional football.

There's still a big difference between them making a bad call and them PURPOSELY making a bad call. BIG differenceRead beyond the plain text. The ball must not move while contacting the ground. Ball moving results in a ground assisted catch and therefor...incomplete. typacal kc fan reply.

Just to be clear did you see the ball moving when contact with the ground was made?
Wasn’t there a defensive holding penalty on that play also??It didn't and the Chiefs wr had possession. The conspiracy theorist are out in full force even after November.
I sure did, and so did a lot of credible news outlets (but we’ll just use SI as an example, who said “the ball hit the ground before Worthy seemed to establish possession”)Just to be clear did you see the ball moving when contact with the ground was made?
The same officials people all over america week over week prove to be not that good?So are you saying it moved when it hit the ground? Perhaps you saw something definitive that none of the officials saw on replay over and over again.

Xavier Worthy's catch upheld on review, creating more confusion over what a catch is
NFL fans will continue asking, rhetorically or otherwise, what a catch is, exactly. While it's been stated possession needs to be established with a player landwww.si.com
Chiefs fans need to acknowledge their natural bias, and also acknowledge that just because the refs decided after review that it was complete doesn’t mean it can’t still be a bad call; refs make bad calls all the time, even with review, and this was one of them 🤷🏻♂️
go home homerFootball fans in general need to acknowledge that out of the 100 plus plays in a football game 1 play doesn't decide a game. The non chiefs fans also need to acknowledge the 2 peat 15 -2 sb champs winning the annual Arowhead Invitational is definitely a possibility.
go home homer
Call it whatever you want it's a great story line that's very lucrative for the league. Back in my day the common man knew when they were being fooled. I guess common sense isn't so common anymore.I'll definitely be home watching the annual Chiefs Superbowl Invitational.

We however have a chiefs eagles again.Definitely lucrative as a biz. The bills almost spoiled it with the 2 failed 2 point conversions. Otherwise, some would say they win 33-32 and it's a bills eagles SB.
Yes, those. Thanks for admitting that there is no conspiracy. The same officials people all over america week over week prove to be not that good?
Correct its not a conspiracy theory, it's a full blown orchestrated conspiracyYes, those. Thanks for admitting that there is no conspiracy.
I really hope you are trying to get people fired up, you surely cant be serious....Correct its not a conspiracy theory, it's a full blown orchestrated conspiracy

It's both. He truly wants to believe it (though he knows it's ludicrous), and he wants to feel like he's getting someone's goat. He would be a way more effective troll if he had something more substantial than "80% of people's opinion" this and "90% of people's opinion" that off the top of his head. That and if he had at least a tiny bit of working knowledge of statistics, correlation, credibility/reliability, et cetera, ad nauseam, he could manipulate the data to support his points but seem credible. Our friend Joey has that, at least.
Has anyone considered that the NFL is doing this on PURPOSE?? Bad calls are just apart of the game and gets people talking. Look at us right now! No such thing as bad press, right!?I think the biggest thing is that people forget how impossible it is to referee a football game at the NFL level. The game is INSANELY fast. Put that together with the fact that there are only 5 (maybe 6 and don't feel like looking it up) refs on the field to watch 22 different players. Even if you assume they are all in pairs, which they aren't, you are still looking at 11 different player interactions and you are expected to see all of it? Get out of here with that nonsense. Anytime there is a bad call, for or against the team I happen to be rooting for, I am like "well, that sucks, but it's football".
Incredibly unlikely. They ended up with the super bowl that will probably end up with the least amount of viewers of all of the possibilities. That's the other thing people aren't thinking about evidently. If they were doing this stuff on purpose, they would not be helping the Chiefs at this point. Maybe with the way things have worked out now, they would rather the chiefs win this week for history's sake. But, up until this point, it would make much more financial and popularity sense to favor another team. That's why it is so obnoxious to listen to. All you have to do is think deeper than surface level and you realize it doesn't even make sense.Has anyone considered that the NFL is doing this on PURPOSE?? The fact that they catch as much and make as few mistakes as they do is actually incredible. But instead of realizing how good they are at their jobs, people berate them for any little mistake they make. They are the best of the best as well. There's a reason they are in the NFL. Just like the players are the best of the best, so are they.I sleep well either way. The refs didnt do a really good job either way. But yes.....i couldnt imagine reffing an nfl game at that speed.

No, no, no! I am NOT talking about the NFL doing this to HELP certain teams! Well there are 7 and that means that their is almost 1 per interaction on the field. While I know it's not always 1 on 1 however there are enough there to catch the majority, and they don't. I also love the other argument of if they called it to the rules there would be 24 hour games. Umm no the players would actually learn how to play to the rules and not to what we have let it become. No, no, no! I am NOT talking about the NFL doing this to HELP certain teams! Perhaps the NFL is doing this on PURPOSE! Not bring in more refs, more cameras, lasers for measuring, chips in the ball, etc. Because it gets people talking about the game. NICE TRY and BE BETTER! Hehe
