Bring on the Rock

Sooooo. I was just wondering if I was the only one giving Kickapoo a chance to win at home against the Hawklets?

I wouldn't call Rock a real dynamic team but they are stout and solid. They beat a young but very good team in Park Hill last night in overtime so if you beat them you will be deserving of the opportunity to play for the district championship. In someways Rock may be a bigger hurdle than the district final. Having not seen you play, I have no opinion on the probability of your success.

Missouri kid nailed it.

This version of the Rock wins ugly. There is not a lot of D-1 talent but plenty of heart.

If you want to beat Rockhurst, like BS did, you must avoid turnovers. Period. Rockhurst this year feeds off them.

Im still not sure why Green doesn't get more time at QB. You'll mostly be dealing with Chance May, who is 235 lbs, and bulldozes people. Throws a decent deep ball. Will throw into double coverage often because of 3 receivers 6'4 or taller. Sometimes works. Sometimes doesn't.

Rockhursts strength is the D. Held CBC to 7. Held JC to 0 (JC had an interception return for only points).

Your kids smack them in the mouth good a couple times it tends to slow them down and they ready to go home.

Have a feeling Coach Thompson and Coach Roderique might spend some time on the phone this week
