If they win out, an OU-Bama rematch that matters could be on the horizon. That will be a dandy.
Great win. Just gotta bring it the next two weeks just like that and hope the committee doesn't hose the league for a second year in a row.

How about the clutch 4th qtr. offense!!!!!! With Boykin possibly out (and it is senior day/night next Saturday in Norman) plus OU owing State in Bedlam this could get very, very interesting. Some help came last night as LSU, Utah and Stanford all lost. It would be crazy irony if OU does wins the next two and Nebraska beats Iowa and THAT is how the Sooners make it into the playoff!
Your Sooner always find a way to make it in. My Longhorns suck again this year but they did get the one win that matters most to me. I very seldom root for the Sooner but if it's between you and Alabama, I go with the lesser of two evils. I hate Alabama. So if it comes down to it. Boomer. Damn that hurts to say.
Let's not forget there is another good team in Oklahoma. Don't want to hear crap about the Iowa State game either. Everyone has one of those type games on their schedule also.

I'm a bandwagon fan of Oklahoma State this year, Oklahoma certainly appears to be the hottest team. However, we all knew that Baylor wouldn't continue without the #1 Q. The OK victory over Baylor is strong, but misleading IMO with a true fresh.
I'm an OU fan but the Sooners want no part of Bama... OU hasn't played a team with a Defense like Bama's IMO Bama wins by at least 3 Td's.

I don't think Paul Rhodes is that good of a coach. He's had 1 winning season at Iowa state (7-6), and his teams have significantly dropped off since 2012. He's 8-26 the last 3 years. The point spreads of Iowa state's losses this year are 14, 7, 35, 24, 18, 36, and 4.
He gets a lot of credit for not a lot of success, imo.

As far as the playoff goes without a lot of teams losing I don't see Baylor or TCU making the playoff. If Oklahoma and Oklahoma St win out the bedlam game will be a play-in game for the playoff. Notre Dame is in the top 4 in the moment but they will get jumped, especially if Okla St is undefeated.

we know Baylor is out now of the conversation, TCU is out of the conversation . if oklahoma state runs the table I think they will be in over notre dame. now if OU beats oklahoma state they will get the shaft I have a feeling because of notre dame beating texas OU losing to them even though that is a massive rivalry game. personally I think Oklahoma is a really good team and if they went out they should be in. I have no malice towards Notre DameI just feel Oklahoma if they win the next 2 games should get a shot

You put more hours on Mosports for sure. I can pretty much guarantee you don't work more hours than me...by the time you figure in clients in AM for conditioning, school, volunteer weights for JH kids after school then gym classes. I count cattle as a hobby.

I agree. Once they got rid of Mangino, changed QB's, (Which is why Mangino left for he wanted to remain with Status Quo) they got some MOJO going. IS will never win the Big 12, their only hope will be get six wins and make a bowl.
I think Rhoades and Wally do a great job but they just don't have the athlete's. K-State get's the JUCO recruits that they need. Until K-State is totally dismantled by the retirement of Snyder they will be bottom feeders.
