BO and Seneca

I will stand by it that I would be shocked if it’s not BO and Seneca. And I think that would make for a great Title Game. But it’s also HS football and you can never overlook anyone. But also certain coaches I wouldn’t bet against, Coach LePage being at the top of that list.
I agree 65 but those two backs they lost for the season will hurt them offensively when the scoring gets tougher. They were a couple of top studs on a team full of studs.

For sure. They would’ve and possibly still will be All State players. Can’t replace them.

Nope. The way they are scoring now against the competition they are scoring against if they start having trouble scoring against a team, it wouldn't help much at all having the other 2 on staff. BO has already adpated their playbook as well as their defense is shutting out competition constantly. They are fine unless for some reason LN is magically sent down to Class 4 for no aparent reason and is placed in this years playoffs which of course they aren't. BO is going to be fine.

It was 1 game against a bad opponent. Let’s chill out.

You guys have a weird concept of what a bad team is. A 6-5 team that almost beat Dexter is not a bad team. Just because a team isn't going to win state doesn't mean they are bad. Lets give the solid teams some credit where it is due.
You took words right out of my mouth. 5 losses to state ranked teams. Had a chance to beat Dexter at Dexter. 2 losses to the favorite to win Class 3. I mean good grief! Yes there were blowouts in those losses. That is a sign of just how dominate BO is. And, the folks saying losing 2 of thir best skill guys will hurt them. I mean you cant replace them, but the back ups are jsut as good if not better than most any other #'1's in the state.

I don't think they are a bad team, but to his point it was only one game. BMan made it sound like they changed their playbook and have played 5 games without Lackman and Dapkus. I also think it just shows the gap between what I believe are the top 2 teams and the rest of the class. SoBo also beat Odessa, who very well could be in the semis. Have to get by Oak Grove this week in a rematch but have already beaten them once before and they have another one of those coaches that I wouldn't bet against. Coach Thomas has done a really good job for a long time.

Odessa has gotten better every week. And they have a great coaching staff. They will be asa prepared as anyone. Would be a interesting matchup if they both reach the Semi's

no. They ADDED to their playbook during their bye week. Most of the teams that face or know that they will face BO already know what they are going to run for the most part. Over the bye week they added some plays and formations you would not at all see with them to improve their approach and confuse the teams when they face them. It helped against SB. I expect it will help with others as well.

"The way they are scoring now against the competition they are scoring against if they start having trouble scoring against a team, it wouldn't help much at all having the other 2 on staff" You can't possibly believe that Dapkus or Lackman would not help them much against teams. I still think they can win it all and even if they did, I would still say having those two would've helped them. They are two of the best players in Class 3.

What all did they add this past week that confused SoBo?

That was my point. It was 1 game. Let’s just slow down and take it game by game. BO is really good, but to say down the stretch (against a team like Seneca) that they won’t miss Dapkus and Lackman isn’t a shot to the backups, who did a fantastic job last game, but is showing respect to two tremendous athletes and individuals.

After the first matchup of BO/Southern Boone and what took place, it’s hard to show SoBo any owed respect. If anyone was there, you’d know.

Don't twist my words. Of course having them helps but WHAT I AM SAYING is they are fine with out them. There currently is no apparent drop off. They have reserves and big men to run the ball, WRs that are faster than their pursuers and even beyond that their current #2s are the same way. Ther #2s score on most teams #1s and defense does not drop off either.

Unfortunately due to the reason for the added formations I can't disclose those formations. All I can say is those formations have not been run by a BO offense in many years if not ever and so to disclose it would defeat the purpose.

I was there, not quite sure what you mean. Injuries happened to both teams. Injuries that knocked out front line players for both teams.

I agree 65 but those two backs they lost for the season will hurt them offensively when the scoring gets tougher. They were a couple of top studs on a team full of studs.
I will say the kid that came back from the baseball injury is as good as Dapkus and probably has better hands. Now the RB spot will hurt some, but there are many kids waiting on the bench for their time.
