KC is a very distant 3rd not a single state champ in 2 years and repeatedly getting smoked when it counts.

Barely any of the State’s D1 guys come from KC although its the 2nd largest Metro area.
I would relax because at this point little ol no Cell Tower, Pay Phone having, No Downtown, No Mall with 2 stories, Cows and Corn, depressing Southwest MO has passed you and they have the same resources as Americans in the 1960’s, do BETTER.

And 16 of the top 20 came from St. Louis. I'm not going to try to quantify "barely any", but it would seem if only 3 of the top 20 ranked players in the state came from KC that would be "barely any".
80% of the top 20 247 recruits in Missouri come from St. Louis. Period.

15 of the top 20 are from St. Louis. 3 are from Columbia/Jeff City.

11 of top 20 from STL. 7 of top 10 from STL.

I wonder why that doesn't translate in other sports? KC Sprinters still make up the majority of the fastest sprinters in the state, with St. Louis second.
we're talking about the sport of FOOTBALL though JN. Most Track Stars are 5'10 150lbs and just blazers. Football skill is a little different
