2010 - 2016 he was in Player Development for the US Army All American Bowl!?!? How is that coaching experience?? It also seems like he has a lot of recruiting experience. Odd.
I'm more concerned that there arent any wins, titles, or championships listed. If he has had success, it should be posted in that article. Any ordinary reader should be concerned if they read that.
It's a good thing school don't check with casual fans before they make a hire then huh? also, Player development..... What is it that coaches do? player development......2010 - 2016 he was in Player Development for the US Army All American Bowl!?!? How is that coaching experience?? Just a casual observation - He hasn't stayed in one place for very long.
Missouri is the 'Show me' state right? Perhaps those folks are simply wanting to be shown some success first!!Great you folks are giving this guy a fair chance...
While I do agree that coaches help develop players, I still fail to see how Player Development for the US Army All American Bowl translates to good coaching. That title was not Player Development for Colquitt County, Ampipe, Texas A & M, or some other program. It's a good thing school don't check with casual fans before they make a hire then huh? also, Player development..... What is it that coaches do? player development......

They became a national powerhouse after he left.
Don't muddle up the thread with facts. They became a national powerhouse after he left.

Which was a terrible hire and look for Cliff Smart.Kinda like they guy Missouri State just hired?
Good records = National Power...Got it.What was the fact? Fact is that he was 30-12 at BG and 8-4 at his school last year. Both records better than what BS has put out on the Field last couple of years.
Only 3 National Championships!?!? Colquitt County has like 7!!Good records = National Power...Got it.
Facts are hard sometimes. You said..."He was the Head Coach at National Powerhouse Bishop Gorman"...It might read a bit more factual had you said, "He was head coach at Bishop Gorman from 03-06. Bishop Gorman won their first state title since 1983 in 2007, the year after White left. Bishop Gorman went on a run of 10 more state titles and 3 national championships following the 2007 season." See? He actually was HC at BG prior to them being a national powerhouse. That's the factual information.
so you are saying blue springs has been irrelevant ?What was the fact? Fact is that he was 30-12 at BG and 8-4 at his school last year. Both records better than what BS has put out on the Field last couple of years.
Kansas City has fallen behind. ST LOUIS and SWMO has been beating them like a Cherokee Drum for a couple years now (See CLASS 6 SEMI 2019, STATE 2018, STATE 2017 etc etc etc etc)
Very obvious that it isnt much coaching talent in that area thats why they have to rotate the same coaches. Makes sense why they had to go 800 miles to Southern Mississippi for a coach.
Having a new Coach with a Recruiting background would be good, start recruiting. If they could combine the Recruiting talent of an STL school and the coaching of a SWMO school they may be relevant again.

Not at all. He has HS HC experience. I get that. Part of that experience is at current national power Bishop Gorman...you know, prior to them being a national power. I also get that. Those are both facts. I can’t speak to the hire or if he’s clearly better than any other KC candidate. That all seems pretty subjective.I think you’re missing the point????
He has high level coaching experience and clearly better than any of the KC candidates. This was a good hire. Bishop Gorman, is a national power. Dont know what anything you said had to do with anything Im talking about.

When Rock, LSW, Blue Springs and Blue Springs South are not good (see 2019 season) KC Class 6 football is not good. This season was the worst it’s been. I’d like to see them with big-time talent again.Top 10 in Class 6:

Don't get too cocky, there has been a good run in Class 6 for St. Louis having one team that could win it all, but prior to that seven of the previous 10 champions were from KC. Not to mention the field (even now in Class 6 in Kansas City is much stronger than the overall field in St, Louis--not even close as witnessed by lackluster Rock beating the crap out of the #2 Class 6 team in St. Louis. So your supposition is crap,

Are you trying to argue STL class 6 is better, because this says KC has more parity and St. Louis only has good football in few areas?
Im not arguing anything.
The #1 School in the Kansas City area played the #1 School in the St Louis area IN KC. the St Louis team beat the breaks off of them. the game was never close, the game was never in question. It was an complete torturous beat down.
The same thing also happened during the 2018 season.
So there really isnt anything to argue. STL is better by a wide margin as of right now.
Overall field is stronger in Kansas City, has been, still is, and will continue to be.
I'm sorry but you are wrong, The youth programs are far better in the St. Louis area right now and they are only become more organized and deeper every year. Public schools were behind in developing feeder programs but that is not longer the case and the amount of talent in the JFL and MYFL is crazy right now. No youth league even remotely compares in KC at the moment. KC had a great run but its over and you need to accept it.Overall field is stronger in Kansas City, has been, still is, and will continue to be.
Because there are no elite Class 6 teams in KC, it appears there is more parity. Simply stated, there are no good KC teams to expose each other with beat downs. None of them are good, as Desmet demonstrated.

Wrong forum!!! Oh wait.....I would like to give that kid in the glasses a flying side kick to the face.
