Who had that one their Week 2 KC metro game of the week bingo card coming into the season? Would love to read thoughts about this one.

I am heading to the battle of Liberty this evening very interesting to see how these two play after one was upset by the aforementioned Tigers while Liberty North had to escape last second to prevail in their home opener................

The middle linebacker for LS is an animal and makes almost every play. Anthopolous (i think?). Blue Springs is strong, young with experience from last year, and powerful. I think they cruise to a win but again it's C6 and those Hatfield Twins are hard to bring down.

Liberty will need to be clean all game to have a change of winning against North. They have much to prove after the dismal performance last week at Lee's Summit. Offense needs consistency on pass blocking and lack of penalties. Offense needs to sustain drives plus find a kicker. All their weapons are the QB w/ no receivers and 4 RBs who are really good. Their D is good but when on the field for most of last week we can see why LS scored what they did.

LibN is not the same team of old but will continue to develop and improve as the season progresses for Lierman and Co. I think they come to the south side of town and win by 14 or more. Rivalry games are weird and can turn but this one seems one sided recently.

Todd Miller is the head football coach for Lee's Summit High School in 2024. Miller previously coached at Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, where he led the Eagles to four championships, six title game appearances, and 10+ win seasons.
