ANNNNNNND other people are finally talking about it! I was shocked to see Blue Springs go 0-2. Then they just kept losing! Rockhurst I can understand, their schedule is rough. Blue Springs did have; Staley (4-0), Fort Osage (4-0), and Blue Springs South (4-0), but Central St. Joe (1-4)????and???

He is agreeing with your point that the first three games may be understandable but losing to a 1-4 (sic) Central team that was destroyed by Kearney makes you realize even more that this years Blue Springs team is not the usual powerhouse of football we have come to expect.Im not following the Kearney reference...
It's an AWFUL loss for Blue Springs.Im not following the Kearney reference...
I don't ever remember Blue Springs being in that position? Did they have some a few classes with not very many seniors coming out?Blue Springs is starting a ton of young kids in what will probably be one of their most talented classes to roll through there in a few years. They're taking their lickings now for dominance later.
That sounds similar to Lees Summit North. They have a HUGE freshman class, like 90 kids in that class alone are out for football. A good bit of them are talented and gives a LSN a bright future.
From the coaches I've talked to, they're jrs and srs are ok, but the sophs are just as good or better than they are right now. So, take the lumps and know/trust that the kids will continue to improve. The soph class is Donahoe's son's class. Not reading into lower level football, but as freshmen they DOMINATED every opponent and many of those kids got moved up to play soph and jv ball as well.
That smells so political. 35-0 to Staley...losing to St. Joe Central...MIGHT want to rethink that strategy.
With the rest of their games they could go 0-10
Why of course you aren't......................ya know I am going to stick with MOSports just to scout YOU now.....................welcome me back PLEASE.Im not following the Kearney reference...
That was I saying too. I have never recalled Blue Springs being in this position before. They always have enough to win games every year, but suddenly now they don't??The mind blower: 51-11 since 2010 (82% winning percentage.) Two state championships. Now 0-4. So with youth football leagues all around... and1,900 enrollment...suddenly...a couple classes can't play over Sophs? Okay.
I have followed Blue Springs since the 80's and have never seen them down like this. I think the problem may be deeper than the class they are in. I don't buy just because they are young they are not winning games as a coach usually starts a player who can do the job regardless of class. Both my grandsons played varsity as freshman and would not have been playing if they could not have handled the job. And both won state championships those years. That was I saying too. I have never recalled Blue Springs being in this position before. They always have enough to win games every year, but suddenly now they don't??
Ill take Rock big like 42-14
I haven't seen Blue Springs and I don't think Rock is nearly as good as last year but I am inclined to agree.[/QUOTE
The Saint Joe score tells me there are major issues with BS . As I've read they're apparently young and lacked leadership . They will probably improve by week 10 quite a bit.
