Uh because we didnt get to even practice for a 6-8 week stretch and played 2 game schedules Im pretty sure its a very valid excuse. 2 top teams St Marys and Kirkwood also forced to Forfeit.

It is an excuse. It is the circumstance we are in. In mean Odessa was defending state champs and undefeated and realistically would have been playing in the state championship. So make excuses for this that and the other. At least they had a shot...Odessa didn’t.

My contacts have informed me that there was an altercation after the game between Cardinal Ritter players and Blair Oaks fans and Players which required individuals to seperate them by the schools. I don't have confirmation but my source is a pretty darn good source though.

This is a non story. Emotions run high in any competitive game. From what it looked like to me is why aren’t we praising both coaching staffs for diffusing the situation quickly. I’m sure both coaching staffs will address the players how to handle these highly emotional competitive games. Proud of both those coaching staffs.

It was 1 individual and he was taken care of by the CR staff immediately. Non issue at all. Both teams played so hard and neither wanted to lose. I am sure there was extra emotions with CR not being able to finish the season last year that went along with it. Again, CR players, coaches and staff hosting was all complimentary to our kids and parents after the game. What a game.
