Any team's fans would want that incredible play/hurdle to count. It was unbelievable. Westmoreland only played in the first half. All of the ones only played in the first half.Funny that Joplin fans still think it's legal to do. Westmoreland still in the game up 61-10. Kinda cheap if ya ask me.
Milan over Gallatin is an upset but not a huge surprise. Milan was picked by some to win the GRC and every loss this year was by one TD or less (3 by 1 point). I would not be shocked if they won district.A couple class 1 what I will call upsets were Milan over Gallatin and Wellington over Midway.
From a seeding point, #6 Logan-Rogersville beat #3 Springfield Catholic, St. Joe Benton beating Pembroke Hill and of course we all know about Blue Springs South.
Looking at MSHSAA there were a handful of 5 seeds beating 4s and some 6s beating 3s.
It's a fun time of the year!

What’s poor sportsmanship? Letting a kid that worked his ass off for 4+ years play a full 2 quarters?Doesn't matter. Still poor sportsmanship.
I agree, hurdling should be legal but it needs to be called consistently and not just when Joplin is up big and won't hurt them.
