Big week in the COC

Carthage reluctantly. As much as I want Joplin to win to give them a conference loss I think Carthage has too much for them

WC as a home underdog? The more I hear about how dominating Nixa is this year, they are still Nixa and they will be playing at Webb. I like the chat pile gutter rats in a good one.

Joplin @ Carthage
Nixa @ Webb .
Who ya got?
Ideally, Joplin and Nixa. Realistically, I’ve got Carthage and (hopefully) Nixa. Tigers are rolling right now and seem to have figured out some of their turnovers woes. Joplin is in for a tough match.

As for Nixa-Webb, I think it more falls to whoever has a better game. Nixa looks like the better squad so far but @Webb changes the pace. Will likely be a barn burner in the COC.

Joplin has been a hard team to figure out . They are great on offense when healthy but suck on defense . I think joplin has more speed and talent than Carthage and they are definitely deeper . Carthage is odd in the fact that they are so good every year but never have great numbers . I think joplin will struggle to get stops by Carthage is turnover prone this year .

Webb is amazing on offense . They lost the starting rb this week but the backup is a stud too and actually has a higher upside as far as big runs come but isn't as good at getting to tough yds imo. Webbs defense has looked better and better every week but still has a very long ways to go to be how they were last year. Nixa is huge and very good but I don't think they can beat Webb on their own turf although I will say webb doesn't have their normal home field advantage...

Nixa's new coach from Mississippi is a dude and has injected a lot of life into that program. I have heard that his organization and preparation are off the charts. Watch this video and you'll see why he has gotten kids to buy in so quickly.

I don't say this often or maybe ever but I actually kind of like Nixa over Webb City. Could be wrong but Nixa has looked almost flawless this year where Webb doesn't look like 'normal' Webb City to me. But we'll see. Webb City is good at winning games they 'shouldn't' win on paper.

Carthage and Joplin who knows. This season both of these teams appear to rely very heavily on their primary players and it shows when even one is missing. I think Carthage will take it but it depends on their defense and avoiding turnovers.

Ultimately the biggest determining factor will be quarantine injury etc. Either of these teams will have a tough night if they are missing many or any key players. They just don't have a ton of depth.
